Lantern Making Workshops

Kids Create Change is hosting 3 workshops for community members to make their lanterns for the community Lantern Floating Ceremony at Arrington Lagoon on May 31st.

Workshops will be held at:

May 14th -  1-4pm  Umbrella Arts Festival at Fountain Square in Downtown Evanston

May 25th -  6-7pm  1100 Florence Ave.

May 25th -  7-8pm  1100 Florence Ave.

May 28th -  3-4pm  Coffee Lab at 910 Noyes St.

May 28th -  4-5pm  Coffee Lab at 910 Noyes St.

Workshops are free and available for all ages but we ask that you register in advance.  Materials will be provided.

Please register for the ceremony on Eventbrite BEFORE registering for a workshop.

Please note that we have a limited number of lanterns and lanterns will not be available for making at the ceremony.

If registration is sold out that means we've run out of lanterns BUT you can still attend the ceremony without a lantern! Add your name to the waitlist so we know you're coming and you will have an opportunity to make a land luminary on site.
